Hugo Maza

Of self-training, Maza began his career in the industry as assistant director for Alejandro González Iñárritu.

Later on he founded his production company, Luna Films, directing commercial campaigns for Televisa.

Since 1997 he has developed a successful career as advertising director in Chile, having received awards at several renowned festivals in the region.

In addition, he worked for production companies such as Cine Cien, Wood Producciones and Procine, shooting for various agencies and clients of the Latino market such as BBDO, DDB, Lowe, Y&R, McCann Erickson, JWT, Toyota, Falabella, Banco de Chile, The Coca-Cola Company, Arcor, Ripley, Ariel and Transbank, among others.

In 2003 Maza directs La perra, an internationally award-winning short film; the first Chile-produced short bought by HBO-USA and Canal Plus form France.

In 2008 he enters Salado Media as a director.
